Dear Parents,

As the 2016-2017 season nears it's end, we would like to ask all of you to take a few minutes and evaluate the Coaches for your team.  This is valuable feedback as we make decisions regarding our Coaches for the upcoming season.

2017-2018 Season Registration - UPDATED!
REMINDER!!  Please Register for the 2017-2018 Season TODAY!!
 
Evaluations END today, March 2!
 
Registration for the 2017-2018 Playing Season for U10 Squirt, U12 Pee Wee, U14 Bantam and U16/U18 Midget is OPEN! 
NOTE: Registration for these age groups will close on MARCH 5, 2017. 
 
Registration for the 2017-2018 Season for Coaches is OPEN.
 
Registration for the 2017-2018 Season for U8 Mites, U6-Mites (formerly Mini-Mites or Mite ADM) and LTS season - will not open until after April 1, 2017.  Note: U8 Mites will be evaluated in October prior to the start of their season.
 

Please register for next season using the Register On-Line Button in the Left Navigation Bar.  

EVALUATIONS for U10, U12, U14 and U16/U18 will take place the week of February 27, 2017 (specific times for each age group are still being worked out and will be released soon).  NOTE: Your player or players MUST be registered on-line for the 2017-2018 season prior to the start of Evaluations for their age group - as this helps us to determine how to equally split the players into groups. 

Players need to attend the sessions for the age group in which they will play in the 2017-2018 season.  For example your child was born in 2006 and is currently playing Squirts, they will be a Pee Wee for the 2017-2018 season and should attend the Pee Wee Evaluation sessions.

Your Player Evaluation Fee of $200 must be brought with you to the first player evaluation session for your player's division. Players will not be allowed to participate without receipt of the $200 registration fee.  If the player notifies us in writing by April 30, 2017 that they will not be playing for CYH for 2017-2018 season a refund of $125 will issued.

NEW Crusaders Youth Hockey Alternate Program

Dear Members and Former Members,

Crusaders Youth Hockey is pleased to announce our NEW Alternate Program - this program begins November 4, 2016.

 

Alternate Player Policy

  • 1.1 - The use of Alternate Players will be evaluated by the Board of Directors on an annual basis;
  • 1.2 - When authorized by the Board of Directors, alternate players will be allowed to play on Crusader Youth Hockey (CYH) teams under the following conditions: 
  • 1.2.1 - Requests for alternate player status must be submitted in writing by a parent or guardian using the CYH registration process;
  • 1.2.2 - Each team may only have a maximum of three (3) alternate players on the roster, exclusive of goalies.  
  • 1.2.3 - Players who request alternate status will be evaluated on a case by case basis by members of the Board of Directors for proper team placement.  Evaluations may be held during a practice.
  • 1.2.4 - Alternate determinations shall be approved only after the expiration of all roster appeals.    
  • 1.2.5 - Players whose registration request is approved will be added to the Team roster and will be offered the following consideration:
  • 1.2.5.1 - Alternate players will commit to paying 50% of the Team’s prescribed dues for the season and payment will follow the same terms and conditions of full-time players;
  • 1.2.5.2 - Alternate players will be eligible to attend all of the Team’s scheduled, player development sessions, practices and invited to participate in games at the Coach’s discretion with the restrictions set forth below;
  • 1.2.5.3 - Alternate players are permitted to play in up to 50% of games – only if a full-time player is absent.  Deviations to this requirement must be approved by the Board of Directors;
  • 1.2.5.4 - Alternate players are permitted to play in all tournaments and playoffs if eligible under tournament and league by-laws;
  • 1.2.6 - An Alternate player that wishes to play full-time, may do so at any time during the season provided there is room on the roster (less than 15 skaters) and the request is submitted prior to the roster deadline.  All requests must be approved by the Board of Directors and will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
  • 1.2.7 - In the event that an alternate player moves to full-time status, roster adjustments may be considered per 1.2.2;
  • 1.2.8 - Alternate players that are approved to move to full-time status will be billed for the full dues.

Use of Crusaders Youth Hockey Name and Logos

Dear Members,

 

Any member who wishes to use the Crusaders Youth Hockey name and or logos, including those for the Tourney in the Woods must obtain written permission from the Board of Directors.  This is not limited to apparel or merchandising products. Members who want to obtain permission should submit their written request to our Auxiliary Director who will bring your request to the Board of Directors for Board approval.  Requests will be handled on a case by case basis and must be submitted each season - permission granted in one season does not guarantee permission the next.

HOW TO: Access Your Team's Roster

Dear Members,

If you are having trouble opening the team roster - please take the following steps:

  • Click on the Link in the message you received with your player's team assignment. 
  • Then in the upper RIGHT corner of the web page, you will see a LOG IN +    Please type in your personal email address and password used during registration at that location. 
  • Then click on Roster once the page loads.  

Do not click on ROSTER before login in, it will not work.

Alternately, you can also access the rosters by clicking on Edit My Account and logging into the web site from there.  You must be logged into the web site in order to view your roster.
